Woman with a gunshot wound found inside north-end Halifax home

HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police are currently investigating a weapons complaint reported early this morning.
At around 12:06 a.m. officers responded to the 5000 block of Duffus Street where a female with a gun shot wound was found inside a residence.
The female was immediately taken to the QEII hospital.
Police say the matter is in its early stages of investigation and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
