Police allege two youths responsible for house fire in northern Cape Breton

NEILS HARBOUR, N.S. – Nova Scotia RCMP say two youths have been arrested in connection with a house fire in Cape Breton.

Police say the fire completed engulfed the abandoned house on Sept. 19 in Neil’s Harbour, about 150 kilometres north of Sydney.

Officers say evidence obtained during the investigation led police to arrest two youths from the Neil’s Harbour area.

Const. Eric Latwaitis says the age or gender of the youths is not being released because Neil’s Harbour is a small community of roughly 300 people and police did not want to inadvertently identify them.
