HALIFAX – Three young Halifax-area men accused of kidnapping another teenager and making him attempt a break-in and a robbery have been released on bail.
Brandon Charles Murphy and Nicholas Tyler White, both 18, and 19-year-old Brandon Lee Burneau appeared in Dartmouth provincial court Thursday for bail hearings.
The Crown consented to each man’s release on a $25,000 recognizance secured by real estate belonging to relatives, while each suspect will be on house arrest while they await trial.
All three men are charged with kidnapping and robbing a 19-year-old Lower Sackville man along with a charge of break and enter.
Murphy and White also face charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The men will return to court June 20.
