Pit bull bites 4-year-old visitor to Cole Harbour home

Halifax Regional Police say HRM By-law Animal Services will be investigating an incident at a Cole Harbour home yesterday in which a four-year-old child was bitten by a pit bull.
RCMP responed to the call around 1:15 Sunday afternoon.
The child was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say she was a visitor to the home.
The pit bull remains in the custody of the home’s owner, pending the investigation.
