Vehicle/pedestrian collision sends one to hospital

HALIFAX — Regional police responded to a collision between a car and pedestrian just before 11a.m. Monday.
Police say a 61-year-old man was struck in the crosswalk by a vehicle turning left from Brunswick Street onto Spring Garden Road.
The man suffered non-life threatening injuries and was brought to hospital.
The driver — a 22 year old male — was ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
