Search crews recover the bodies of three B.C. helicopter crash victims

TERRACE, B.C. – Rescue crews have now recovered the bodies of three people killed in a helicopter crash in northwestern, B.C.

The A-Star 350 helicopter went down on Sleeping Beauty Mountain with three people on board Friday morning.

Dave Jephson of Terrace Search and Rescue says crews recovered the bodies after the weather cleared and the avalanche risk lessened.

Bailey Helicopters has confirmed that one of the pilots killed in the crash was 45-year-old Peter Bryant.

The company says Bryant was a resident of Terrace and was an employee for 11 years.

The coroners service and Transportation Safety Board have taken over the investigation.
