Facebook users out “friends” as Vancouver rioters

It seems Facebook users have no qualms about outing their “friends” as hooligans and anarchists following the Vancouver Stanley Cup riots.
More than 1,300 photos and incriminating screen-grabs have been posted to a page dedicated to pinpointing those responsible for the damage, called “Vancouver Riot Pics: Post Your Photos.”
One post shows a photo of a promising water-polo player who apparently had been offered a scholarship to the University of Calgary. Right next to it is a photo of the young man lighting a rag in the gas tank of a cop car.
Other posts show people bragging in their Facebook status about what they did, or goods they stole, during the riots.
“I was the one who flipped the pig’s car over,” reads one.
Another says, “I got a free TV from there … thank you Canucks.”
Vancouver Police and RCMP say they will continue to investigate online tips and lucky for them, most people posting weren’t thinking about the repercussions.
