Rochette gives solid performance in figure skating short program

VANCOUVER, B.C. – It was a bittersweet night at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Tuesday night, as a grieving Joannie Rochette skated to a personal best in the short program to take third place heading into the long program.
Rochette performed just days after her mother’s sudden death last week.
