HALIFAX – About a dozen tenants of a Dartmouth apartment building remain out of their homes after a suspicious fire early Sunday.
The Canadian Red Cross has provided emergency lodging for about half of them, the others have made their own arrangements.
Fire crews were called to the two-storey building on Pincecrest Drive at around 3:40 a.m.
Police say some of those displaced by the blaze had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
A second fire on Montebello Drive has been determined to not be suspicious.
