Mooseheads and NEWS 95.7 extend broadcast agreement ahead of highly anticipated season

HALIFAX – The Halifax Mooseheads and NEWS 95.7 have extended an agreement that will see every game broadcast throughout both the regular season and the playoffs.
Mooseheads’ general manager Cam Russell says having the team’s games broadcast on NEWS 95.7 is a big plus.
“I think it’s wonderful,” said Russell. “It’s a program that a lot of people listen to.”
Russell says fans can expect much improved team this season.
“We’ve got a real neat core of good skilled young hockey players, and we added to that with the draft this year,” Russell said. “We expect to take a big step forward this year.”
Once the puck drops on Sept. 21, fans will be able to tune into all of the 68 regular season games as the Mooseheads being their push towards a berth in the Memorial Cup.
