Police release sketch of robbery suspect

Regional Police have released an artist’s sketch of one of the suspects in a robbery that happened earlier this year.

It happened on Jan. 17 when a 19-year-old woman was walking on Tower Road when she saw four men standing on the sidewalk.

She walked past them, then heard footsteps behind her before being pushed from behind.

One of the men pushed her against a wall and began yelling at her, holding her against the wall while the other men went through her backpack and stole cash from her wallet.

Police say all four men fled down Tower Road toward Point Pleasant Park.

The man who pushed the woman against the wall is described as dark-skinned, in his early 20s, around 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build and a full, thick beard.

Police say he was wearing a dark winter jacket with white stripes down the sleeves, and a dark toque, at the time of the incident.

Another suspect is described as lighter skinned, also in his early 20s, about the same height with a heavy build.

He was wearing a black jacket and toque at the time.

The other men are described as in their early 20s with thin builds.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
