Police investigate stabbing on Spring Garden Road

Regional Police are investigating a stabbing that sent a man to hospital this afternoon.
The call came in just before 1 p.m. from outside the Halifax Central Library on Spring Garden Road.
Police say a 35-year-old man who’d been stabbed in the face was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
They describe the suspect as a white man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall, 220 pounds with a shaved head.
He was wearing a red hat, a grey t-shirt and jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
