Police search for convenience store robbery suspect

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a robbery at the Needs convenience store in Highfield Park.
Police say just before 7:30 p.m. a man went into the store and threatened the woman working with a knife.
He got away with an unknown amount of cash and cigarettes.
No one was injured.
A search of the area by officers and a K9 unit failed to find the suspect.
He is described as a white man, tall and thin in his mid-30s with blue eyes. He was wearing a grey hoodie and carrying a bag over his shoulder at the time.
