Police investigate second vehicle-pedestrian collision

Police are investigating Monday’s second vehicle-pedestrian collision.

At about 1:45 p.m., police responded to a collision at the intersection of Terminal Rd. and Hollis St.

A 67-year-old woman crossing Hollis St. in a marked crosswalk was hit by a car turning left from Hollis St. onto Terminal Rd. driven by a 38-year-old woman.

The pedestrian went to hospital by ambulance and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No charges have been laid and this incident remains under investigation.

Police want to remind drivers and pedestrians that road safety is a shared responsibility.

Monday morning, a 59-year-old woman was issued a ticket after she hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk at Kempt Rd. and Young St.
