Woman charged after boy stabbed in eye

A 74-year-old woman is facing several charges after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the eye Saturday.
Police say the woman was arrested without incident at the Earleton Avenue residence in Dartmouth and has been released with conditions and will appear in court at a later date on charges of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and possession of a weapons dangerous to the public.
The boy was taken to the IWK for treatment.
