Police investigate robbery in Halifax Common

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Tuesday morning.

At about 5:30 a.m., a 52-year-old man was walking through the Halifax Common, when he was approached from behind by two men.

They didn’t say anything to the man, but punched him several times before taking his wallet.

The two suspects were last seen running towards North Park Street.

They’re described as white men in their 20s, one of whom was wearing jeans, the other a red hoodie and shorts.
