Police investigate shooting in North Preston

Police are investigating another shooting in North Preston.
RCMP Staff Sgt Scott Warnica tells News 95.7 the latest incident came to light when a man turned up in hospital with a gunshot wound.
“At approximately quarter to one in the morning, we responded to a complaint where a male had showed up at the Dartmouth General Hospital,” he said. “Halifax Regional Police responded first and it became evident the shooting took place in North Preston.”
The man was treated for minor injuries and released.
The integrated GIS section is holding two crime scenes in the Cain Street area of the community. There have been no arrests in the case yet.
