TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (12,403.63 up 69.29 points):

Uranium One Inc. (TSX:UUU). Miner. Up 15 cents, or 7.11 per cent, at $2.26 on 16,271,862 shares.

Allon Therapeutics Inc. (TSX:NPC). Biotechnology development. Down 1.5 cents, or 60 per cent, at one cent on 10,428,273 shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Transportation. Up two cents, or 0.56 per cent, at $3.57 on 8,220,982 shares. The company says it has a letter of intent with an unnamed airline that wants to buy up to 30 of its CSeries planes that could be valued at as much as US$2.08 billion based on list prices. The airline, which did no want to identified, would buy an initial 12 planes with the option to acquire another 18.

Antrim Energy Inc. (TSX:AEN). Oil and gas. Unchanged at 52 cents on 7,323,052 shares.

Cline Mining Corp. (TSX:CMK): Miner. Up three cents, or 46.15 per cent, at 9.5 cents on 6,985,983 shares.

Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial services company. Up 17 cents, or 1.27 per cent, at $13.60 on 6,318,121 shares.

TSX Venture Exchange (1,176.52 up 0.52 of a point):

Pacific Coal Resources Ltd. (TSXV:PAK). Mner. Up one cent, or 8.70 per cent, at 12.5 cents on 9,765,495 shares.

Anglo Aluminum Corp. (TSXV:ALU). Miner. Up half a cent, or 20 per cent, at three cents on 8,398,357 shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Cameco Corp. (TSX:CCO). Miner. Up 51 cents, or 2.55 per cent, at $20.51 on 1,254,777 shares. It has completed a US$430-million deal to buy one of Australia’s largest undeveloped uranium deposits from BHP Billiton Ltd. (NYSE:BHP). The Saskatoon-based company says its next move is to conduct a full review and develop a plan for the Yeelirrie property, about 650 kilometres northeast of Perth.
