Mooseheads shutout Wildcats 3-0

HALIFAX – In the last game of the Mooseheads’ two-game home stand, the Herd shut out the Moncton Wildcats 3-0.
Nico Hischier put Halifax on the board, with his 21st goal of the season at 2:37 of the 2nd. Exactly three minutes later, Benoit-Olivier Groulx scored on a power play to give Halifax a 2-0 lead. In the 3rd, Hischier scores his second of the afternoon at 12:39.
The Herd out shot the Cats 43-22. Mooseheads goalie Alexis Gravel earned his first QMJHL shutout.
