Structure fire planned for McNabs Island

The Department of Natural Resources plans to set fire to an abandoned cottage in McNabs Island Tuesday morning.
They say it’s the best way for them to remove the structure that could pose a danger to visitors to the island.
The department says the burning will be done by trained professionals, and to not be alarmed if you see smoke or fire coming from the island.
