It’s the moment many Nova Scotian shoppers have been waiting for – Target opens three stores in metro at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The stores are located in Bayers Lake, Bedford Place and Mic Mac Mall.
Designer products at low prices is what Target is bringing to Nova Scotia, which includes clothing from Designer Philip Lim, Nate Burkis for home products and Beaver Canoe.
Bryan Berg is Target Canada’s Senior VP of stores, he explains what sets them apart from others.
“Number one it’s differentiated clean, clutter-free, one-stop shopping experience,” said Berg. “Wide aisles, friendly staff, and a quick check out as well.”
The new Mic Mac Mall location – which is also the largest in the entire province – has a new escalator called a vermaport, designed specifically for shopping carts.
460 employees have been hired to work at all the locations.
