Good afternoon Todd. Reference, Mr. Dan Padic, assistant executive director for the Canadian Welding Association. He was stating that their was a great shortage of welder in Canada and that they were thinking of outsourcing out of the country for skill labourers. I think this is the biggest tragedy possible. There is a lack of welder in Nova Scotia because they do not have the places in the Community Colleges to acccomodate students. The fact that Mr. Irving received 300 millions to kick start the new Navy ships program from Mr. Dexter behind the taxpayers back if a joke. That 300 millions should have been used to expand our community colleges and provide adequate seating for a new generation of skilled labourer.

P.S. My son graduate fron High School this coming spring and applied at the NSCC in Dartmouth for a welding course and was wait listed. He had to take a second choice course that will affect him probably for the rest of his life. What’s wrong with this picture?

I would really appreciate if you could provide me with contacts to assist me with this matter.

Thank you Todd. You are the best.

Hi Todd!
I am way ahead of ya! lol!
Ever since the lock out of 2005, I can honestly say I haven’t watched a full game of hockey. After a full season of finding “other things to do” I got out of the habit and trust me I WAS a hardcore fan!
To heck with em!
