Senate roll vote on bill to prevent government shutdown

The 50-49 roll call Saturday by which the Senate rejected legislation to fund the federal government through Feb. 16. The bill required 60 votes to pass.

A “yes” vote is a vote to pass the bill.

Voting yes were 5 Democrats and 45 Republicans.

Voting no were 42 Democrats, 5 Republicans and 2 independents.
