Peter Maxwell Davies, the formal composer for Queen Elizabeth II, has found himself left out of the upcoming royal nuptials between Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Davies said he expected he would be composing music for the wedding, and was shocked when he did not receive the assignment.
The composer told The Daily Telegraph he does not even plan to watch the April 29 wedding on Television.
Simon Wall, a spokesperson for Davies, said he plans to dedicate a future composition to the royal couple another time.
