Countries working together to help Libyan victims

International military forces, including a reconnaissance team from Canada, are on the ground in Malta, as Moammar Gadhafi continues to deny a revolution is underway in Libya.

Canada’s force arrived Monday night — it includes a 13-member team, along with combat medics, two new C-130J cargo planes and two giant C-17 transports.

The first priority is to remove all remaining Canadian citizens from the chaos in Libya and — as discussed with U.S. President Barack Obama by phone Monday night — to assist foreign nationals from all countries in a coordinated international effort.

Britain and the U.S. are also moving their air force and navy resources closer to the region.

Meanwhile, Gadhafi not only refuses to step down, but refuses to even accept that his citizens are protesting.
