One dead as car hits utility pole in rural Nova Scotia on Labour Day

HALIFAX – RCMP are investigating a fatal accident on Labour Day.

Just before 6:00 p.m. Monday, police were called to Conquerall Rd. in Conquerall Mills, just outside Bridgewater, after a report of single vehicle crash.

Police say that during the crash the vehicle rolled over and struck a utility pole, killing the 20-year-old driver.

There were no one else in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

No names have been released.
