HALIFAX — A crossing guard is the victim of the latest vehicle/pedestrian collision in Halifax.
Halifax Regional Police responded to the incident at the intersection of Gottingen Street and Charles Street just before 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, where a car ran into the back of another car stopped at a crosswalk.
The collision caused the stopped vehicle to strike the crossing guard.
A 66-year-old female was transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The matter remains under investigation.
