Gas prices slightly up in Nova Scotia

HALIFAX – Nova Scotia drivers will note a small increase in the price of gas across the province Friday.

The Utility and Review Board used its weekly adjustment to raise the price of regular self-serve by 1.3 cents per litre, to a new minimum price of $1.07/L.

The news is better for diesel as regulated prices fell by a half-cent per litre at midnight to a new minimum price of $1.04/L.

At this time in 2015, drivers were paying 95 cents per litre for gasoline, 99 cents per litre for diesel and oil was trading on the markets at $45.60 US per barrel, just over $4 less than Thursday’s closing price of $49.64 US.
