Nova Scotia gas prices expected to rise slightly this week

HALIFAX – After a week of steady prices at the pump, Nova Scotia drivers can expect to pay more to fill up their tank Friday.

News 95.7 predicts price for regular self-serve to climb by about a penny per litre at midnight.

In a news release, George Murphy from Consumers for Fair Gas Prices says prices may start to fall on news the production deal struck between OPEC nations is falling apart.

Across the border in New Brunswick prices climbed by 1.5 cents at midnight, moving the maximum per litre up to $1.10/L.
