Lower Sackville man dies following collision on Highway 101

GARLAND’S CROSSING, N.S. – A 41-year-old Lower Sackville man has died following a fatal crash on Highway 101 Monday afternoon.
At around 12 p.m., the 41-year-old driver’s car collided with a tractor-trailer between Exits 5 and 5A near Garland’s Crossing, near Windsor.
The Lower Sackville man died, while the driver of the transport truck was not injured.
Highway 101 was closed between Exits 5 and 5A until approximately 8 p.m. while an RCMP Traffic Analyst conducted an investigation.
The highway has since been re-opened.
