Pilot, passenger and homes still in one piece after plane crash near Truro

News 95.7 Staff, with files from the Canadian Press Jul 31, 2010 08:35:43 AM
It was a close call for a row of homes in central Nova Scotia yesterday.

A small, two-seater plane narrowly missed smashing into the houses in the community of Valley, near Truro.

Witnesses say they heard the plane's single engine sputtering before it plunged to the ground, however both men aboard walked away.

The plane crashed in the midst of a block of homes in a subdivision, coming within 70 metres of the nearest house.
