N.S. gas prices expected to rise slightly

Doug Reynolds Mar 11, 2010 05:38:56 AM
There's some uncertainty surrounding gas prices this week, but it seems fairly certain they're not going down.

News 95.7 is predicting an increase of about a penny or so when regulated prices are reset tonight.

Regular self-serve is currently going for $1.06.8 in metro, well above last year's price of 85.7 cents per litre.

In New Brunswick, prices went up by 1.3 cents overnight to a new maximum of $1.05.8. Most stations are selling gas for a couple of cents less today.
