Man charged after 'sensory irritant' sprayed on bus

Scott Simpson Jan 26, 2012 14:51:19 PM
Charges have resulted from Wednesday's incident on a Metro Transit bus at the Wyse Road Terminal.

Paramedics treated nine people who were exposed to a sensory irritant sprayed as two men argued on board.

A man ran off the bus but was arrested minutes later at Alderney Landing. Officers seized a can of what they're only calling 'sensory irritant'.

Donald Joseph McNamara, 25, faces thirteen charges including mischief, weapons possession and nine counts of assault with a weapon.
