N.S. gas prices likely to rise slightly

News 95.7 Staff Jan 26, 2012 06:01:37 AM
The only thing we can say for sure about gas prices this week is that they won't go down.

The price of regular self-serve has been at $1.293 in metro for two weeks now and News 95.7 is predicting that if regulated gas prices change tonight, they'll go up by about a penny a litre.

In New Brunswick, regulated prices went up 0.9 cents a litre to a new maximum of $1.284. Diesel prices fell 1.7 cents to $1.40 a litre.

In Toronto, unregulated prices were expected to go up by about a penny, moving the average price in the GTA to $1.231.
