Teen due in court on murder charges

A 17-year-old boy charged with second-degree murder was scheduled to appear in court through his lawyer, Monday morning.

The boy is charged with in the death of a woman in Sackville's Millwood subdivision.  The victim was found in her home on Hewer Crescent, early Friday afternoon.

The boy was arrested a short time later, after police say he stripped off his clothes and ran in the middle of traffic on Sackville Drive.

Police still haven't offically identified the victim.  They will not confirm the relation between the woman and the teen.

The boy was being assessed at the IWK forensic unit over the weekend.  He is still in the hospital and was unable to appear in court in person.
