Beaver Bank school closed by vandalism

A Beaver Bank elementary school was closed Monday because of a break-in over the weekend.
Vandals broke into Monarch Drive Elementary School at some point during the weekend. At least one fire extinguisher was discharged.
A decision on school re-opening was planned for later in the day.
