Drugs, handgun seized in traffic stop
A 25-year-old man faces weapons and drug charges after a traffic stop late last night. Police stopped a vehicle on Cranberry Crescent in Dartmouth around 11:45 p.m. The officer says there was a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search uncovered a quantity of illegal drugs and a loaded handgun. The man is being held in custody until his court date on Monday. |
