Crash claims life of Bedford man
A 20-year-old Bedford man has died after a single-vehicle crash on the Hammonds Plains Road. Cpl. Joe Taplin says it appears the vehicle slipped off the edge of the pavement onto the gravel and the driver lost control. "Lost control of his vehicle, spun out of a control, struck a hydro power pole," says Taplin. Police interviewed a few witnesses Monady night and say they haven't ruled out speed or alcohol.
