No one hurt in three separate shootings
Regional police are looking for witnesses and suspects after the third shooting in two days. Officers responded to reports of shots on Pinecrest Drive just after 6 p.m. Sunday. They found several bullet casings, but no victims or property damage. The investigation will continue today. It was the third shooting of the weekend, coming after two incidents in Spryfield. Residents on Herring Cove Road heard shots around 5 a.m. Saturday and a few hours later, tenants of an apartment building found the bullet lodged in a closet. At 10:30 Saturday night three men in a dark blue hatchback fired several shots near Lemon Walk and Greystone Drive, but no one was hit.
