Canada has one of lowest risks of terrorist attacks

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – When it comes to terrorism, Canada has one of the lowest risks in the Western world.
The 2010 Terrorism Risk Index places Canada 67th, although no major Western countries were listed with a high or extreme risk. The report from British company Maplecroft looks at the frequency of terrorism-related incidents between June 2009 and 2010.
The US ranks 33rd on the list, placing it in the “medium risk” category, along with France and the UK. Airport security has been making headlines lately, as more people speak out against measures like body scans.
