RCMP say Mackenzie Eagles was last seen Saturday, September 23rd, her bike and helmet were found along the highway near the airport, police say there’s no indication she was in a collision.
Her mother, Kelly Eagles tells Global News, the 15-year-old has taken off before, but never for this long.
“In those situations, we’ve always known after about 24-hours approximately where she is, or we would hear from friends,” she said. “This time around it’s a little different, no one knows where she is.”
Her family says she won’t be punished, they just want her to check in so they know she’s safe.
Mackenzie is white, 5-feet tall, 150 pounds with dark blonde hair and blueish green eyes.
She was last seen wearing a navy blue sweater, and was carrying dark coloured backpack with yellow writing on it.
