More relief at the gas pumps as prices fall across Nova Scotia

By Dan Ahlstrand

HALIFAX – For the second week in a row drivers in Nova Scotia are seeing a big drop in the price for gasoline.

Provincially regulated prices fell by 6.7 cents at midnight, lowering the minimum price to 108.2.

The news is not as good for those needing diesel. Fuel prices climbed by 9-10ths of a cent to a new minimum of 104.3.

At this time last year we were paying 106.0 for gasoline, 93 cents for diesel…oil was trading at $45.96 us per barrel, just under 5 dollars less than yesterday’s closing price of $50.70.
