Small drop in gas prices

By Mark Hodgins

A little relief at the gas pumps today.

The provincial regulator deciding to drop the price of regular self-serve gasoline by one and a half cents to 106.4.

A similar drop in the price of diesel, which is now now sitting at 98.8 cents.

A year ago we were paying 98 cents for gasoline, 92 for diesel.

Oil was selling at $46.93 U.S. per barrel, just pennies less than yesterday’s closing price of $47.09.
