Mooseheads play-by-play announcer John Moore steps away from radio broadcasts

The long-time voice of the Halifax Mooseheads has decided step away from the broadcast booth.

John Moore has announced he will not be calling games on NEWS 95.7 this season to give him more time to focus on his business sportsandmoore.com.

He says he’s excited for  the next chapter and challenges ahead.

The 20-year veteran has seen it all with the Herd, from the regular season, the playoffs and even calling a Memorial Cup championship for the team.

Mooseheads hockey returns to NEWS 95.7 this season, with the season opener on the road in Saint John September 21st.

For those who want to catch the Mooseheads in person at the Scotiabank Centre, the team has new 6 and 20 game ticket flexible packages for fans, which go on sale today.
