Police continue to investigate decade old murder

On the 10th anniversary of the murder of Glenn Brian Bourgeois, Halifax Regional Police say they continue to look for information about the case.

Police were called the area of Maynard and Woodill streets at around 4 p.m. on July 21, 2007 after getting reports of gunshots fired.

When officers arrived, they found Bourgeois suffering from several gunshot wounds, he later died of his injuries.

Witnesses told police they saw two men running off right after they heard gunshots, one of them was carrying a firearm.

The case is also part of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers cash rewards of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for specified major unsolved crimes.
