By Jean-Marc Samson

Police say a 37 year-old-man has been seriously injured following an accident at the Halifax Public Libraries branch in Lower Sackville.

They say a truck struck a concrete wall, and the male driver suffered serious injuries.

The incident happened around 7:15 a.m., on Sunday, and EHS, police and fire crews were on scene.

Police say they anticipate the library will be closed for a few hours, and disruptions in traffic in the area are expected.

The Lower Sackville man has been taken to hospital with what police are calling life-threatening injuries.

There were no other injuries, and the investigation continues.
