Three Mooseheads join Canadian squad for U18’s in Slovakia

HALIFAX – Three members of the Halifax Mooseheads have been added to Canada’s roster for the upcoming IIHF U18 World Championships in Slovakia.

Defencemen Jared McIsaac and Jocktain Chainey will be joined by goalie Alexis Gravel in the tournament.

Benoit-Olivier Groulx was also given an invitation by Hockey Canada, but he is unable to play because of an injury.

The team departed for Slovakia Wednesday to continue training camp and play two pre-tournament games before opening the tournament next Thursday against Latvia.
