Man taken to hospital after being hit by truck with a plow in Fairview

HALIFAX – Regional police say a man has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a truck with a plow in Fairview.
They say the 61-year-old was walking across Dutch Village Rd. at Rufus St. just before 9:00 p.m.
The driver has been ticketed for making an improper left turn and failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
