Crews battle morning house fire on Bayers Road

Investigators remain on the scene of an earlier house fire.
The blaze is believed to have broke out on Bayers Road and Romans Avenue in the basement before 6 a.m.
“There is some obvious smoke damage to windows on the first and second floor,” said NEWS 95.7 reporter Mark Hodgins.
Hodgins said one person was in the house at the time, but he was able to get out unharmed.
Bayers Road has now re-opened to traffic.
