Gas prices expected to jump again in Nova Scotia

By Dan Ahlstrand

HALIFAX – Look for yet another increase in the price of gasoline this week.

NEWS 95.7 is predicting that when prices are reset at midnight Thursday they will climb by about two cents per litre.

On his blog, George Murphy from Consumers for Fair Gas Prices writes that many questions remain in the market with OPEC cutting production, and the number of rigs operating in the U.S. on the rise.

Across the border in New Brunswick prices climbed by 3.5 cents to a new maximum price of 115.8.
